About the PYPA
The Program for Young Politicians in Africa (PYPA) is a multiparty regional academy to develop the capacity of young African politicians.
Program Goal.
The program aim is to increase young people’s political participation and influence and contribute to a more democratic, representative, and non-discriminatory political system in the program countries.
Program Target Group
PYPA uses a Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA) approach to development and places much emphasis and focus on working with youths from political parties.
Program Design and Reach
PYPA has a unique multi-party design which is supported by four major parties in Sweden that have partnered and are supporting different regions in Africa.
Historical Background
The Program for Young Politicians in Africa (PYPA) started in 2012 in East and West Africa. Southern Africa which includes the Zambia –Malawi region was added in 2016. The four parties support to PYPA is divided as follows: • East Africa: Christian Democratic Party through KIC • West Africa: Center Party and EGD in Burkina Faso • Southern Africa: Social Democratic Party and ETU in South Africa The program in Malawi and Zambia is implemented by Green Forum and run in cooperation with a local implementing partner, the Center for Young Leaders in Africa (CYLA) Zambia.

Call for Registration of Suppliers- 2020
CYLA is a youth NPO multiparty Volunteer organisation which brings youths from major political parties and others from diverse backgrounds to diologue and network for collective and individual social transformation. CYLA is now calling for organisations, companies and individuals who provides goods and services to register as suppliers. Only organisations, companies or individuals below the age of 35 will be considered.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Company profile stating company directors and contact person with functional email
2. Copy of VAT certificate, Tax clearance certificate and TPIN certificate a MUST
3. Copy of certificate of Incorporation or Registration and other statutory bodies
where applicable a MUST
4. To be considered eligible for registration, the company, individual or organisation must be
headed by a young person(s) below the age of 35.
Companies and individuals wishing to register as suppliers of goods and services are required to pay a non-refundable fee of K200 as a pre-requisite to the issuance of a form for supplier registration. The forms can be obtained from CYLA Head Office in Lusaka and should be submitted before the closing date on Friday 15th February 2020 at 12:00hrs.
